My Take On The Mermaid Nail

Today I’ve got a little treat for you. Lately I’ve been reading about the ‘mermaid’ nail, and I chose to make my own. Check out this piccie!

With this one, I decided to use my China Glaze For Audrey as a base, and my new Sinful Nail Junkie as a topcoat. For Audrey’s application was pretty streaky, I recommend polish thinner if you’re going to coat your nails with thinner coats. But three thick coats should work. I let that dry for a while, then I added two and a half coats of Sinful Nail Junkie for a gradated nail effect. I’m sure I didn’t do a very good job with it though.

Please tell me what you think. Does it look good against my skin tone? Do you think there were better colors for me to use? Either way, I’d love to hear from you.
